Donate to the Albion Municipal Library & Heritage Center Endowment Fund

The Albion Municipal Library's mission is to support lifelong learning with resources that inform, educate, and enrich the lives of area residents, with special emphasis on promoting an interest in reading and learning among our youth.

The library holds over 7,810 in printed books and materials, and approximately the same number in eBooks and downloadable audiobooks.  Over 5,445 printed items circulate each year and 4,210 people visit the library annually.

The library helps instill the love of reading and provides the resources to do so.  It serves as a center for community groups to meet and is host to many programs - travelogues, music-oriented, summer reading events and off-site preschool StoryTimes.
The Albion Library helps youth and adults alike, and feels good about living in this small, rural Marshall county town.

Your Gift Will Forever Promote Reading and a Sense of Community.

It's important that the Albion Municipal Library & Heritage Center is strong and continue to grow in the future.  This endowment fund was established to ensure future generations the ability to enjoy the library as much as local residents enjoy it today.  Dollars donated to the endowment fund are invested, and income is used to help the library carry out its mission.  By giving to this fund, you are making a contribution that will help the library forever.

The Community Foundation of Marshall County is affiliated with the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines. It meets national standards and donors to the library endowment fund are eligible for state tax credit in addition to the normal federal deduction for charitable gifts.
